After an opening reception on July 15, Alan was featured as the guest artist through the month of September at the Norfolk Artisian's Guild on route 44 in Norfolk center.
On July 29 Alan participated in an artist's outdoor "fence" show on the front lawn of the Old Lyme Inn. This show is in conjunction with the weekend long midsummer art event in Lyme Connecticut.During the month of October, two of Alan's portraits were juried in to " Up close and personal" show, and will be on display at the West Hartfod Art League's gallery space on Buena Vista Road through the end of October. There was an opening reception on Octuber 4.
Also during the month of October, some of Alan's newer work, the Orchid series, is being shown at Gallery 11, 11 Whitney St, Hartford. The show, "Hyper Organic", had its opening reception on October 11. Gallery 11 is one of the newest art venues to open in the area and will contine to have openings of new exhibits on the 11th of each month
Join Alan and 92 other artists in celebrating art in Hartford during the 17th Open Studio Weekend on Novermber 4th and 5th. A festive opening reception will happen from 6 to 8 November 2, featuring a new piece of art from each artist participating, along with food, drink, and entertainment at Artspace, 555 Asylum Avenue, Hartford.
